Former Los Angeles Rams safety Taylor Rapp remains a free agent after being cut by the Buffalo Bills this offseason, but another AFC powerhouse is giving him a look. According to reports, the Denver Broncos hosted Rapp for a tryout on Wednesday.
Rapp, 28, played just six games for the Bills last season before being placed on injured reserve with a knee injury. It was the second year of a three-year contract he signed with the Bills in 2024, worth a total of $10.62 million. The Bills originally signed him to a one-year deal in 2023 after the Rams let him walk in free agency.
During his four years with the Rams, Rapp played 57 games and made 48 starts, picking off nine passes with 330 total tackles. He was part of the 2021 Super Bowl team, starting
that game and making seven tackles in the win over the Bengals.
If the Broncos end up signing Rapp, he’ll get a chance to face his former team in Week 3 when the Rams play Denver on the road.
