The Los Angeles Rams have made it official: Myles Garrett is back after missing the last seven games with a knee injury. On Saturday, the Rams announced they have activated Garrett and Ronnie Rivers from injured reserve. As a coinciding move, they placed Jaylen Watson on IR; he suffered a season-ending shoulder injury in Week 8 and will need surgery.
Garrett underwent surgery after the Rams' Week 1 game against the San Francisco 49ers and missed the last seven games. He's now fully recovered and will play against the Washington Commanders on Sunday, his first time suiting up alongside Aaron Donald on the defensive front.
Additionally, the Rams promoted long snapper Jake McQuaide and cornerback Damarion Williams. McQuaide is set to play his second
game in place of Joe Cardona, who is doubtful to play due to an ankle injury. Williams' elevation likely comes in case Trent McDuffie, who is questionable, cannot suit up due to his back injury.
The Rams also signed Cam Lampkin to the 53-man roster this week so they have some much-needed depth at cornerback with Watson out and McDuffie banged up.
