Los Angeles Rams defender Aaron Donald may have been ruled out for their game against the Philadelphia Eagles, but that won't stop All-Pro defensive tackle Jalen Carter from picking the brain of the legend.
In a video captured by Eagles beat reporter E.J. Smith, Carter stated that he missed a chance to meet Donald back in 2023, and hopes to do so after today's game. In a 23-14 defeat for the Rams, Carter recorded two sacks. Ever since, he's been a perpetual thorn in the side of the Rams' offense and offensive lines across the NFL. However, his success has not quenched his thirst for knowledge.
"The last time we played him, I didn't get to speak to him after the game," said Carter. "Hopefully, I can speak to him after this game, pick his brain
a little bit with the time I have. But that's pretty much."
Carter was also asked what impressed him the most about Donald's game. In his explanation, the Super Bowl champion called the Rams legend the best.
"Everything about him," said Carter. "The way he's built, how he works out, his pass rush moves, the way his hands are-you know, just technique-wise, pretty much everything. He's one of the greatest ever played in position. Obviously, I watched him for film before I even got to the league of him and what he did while I was still in high school, college, and then all et cetera. But he's the best."
Unfortunately for Carter, Donald's status may mean he didn't make the trip to Philly. Regardless, considering their recent success, there's a likelihood these teams could meet again in the postseason.
