Just one day after setting their initial practice squad, the Los Angeles Rams are already making changes. According to ESPN’s Brady Henderson, the Rams are expected to sign outside linebacker Jamie Sheriff to their practice squad.
Sheriff was waived by the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday as part of the team’s final roster cuts, and he’s quickly landed with a division rival. The Rams’ practice squad was full with 17 players, so they will need to cut someone in order to make room for Sheriff.
Sheriff came into the NFL as an undrafted rookie in 2024, signing with the Seahawks after the draft. He didn’t make the team and landed with the Panthers before getting cut by Carolina a couple of weeks later.

He then signed to the Seahawks’ practice squad and spent the season in Seattle before trying to make the team again this summer, only to come up short. He's played three games in his career and recorded just one tackle.
