As if it wasn't bad enough that the Los Angeles Rams lost to the San Francisco 49ers by 20 points in Thursday's opener. They also suffered a handful of injuries in their blowout loss.
Near the end of the game, starting linebacker Nate Landman was shaken up after a catch by Christian McCaffrey. There were only 4 minutes left in the fourth quarter and the Rams were down 20, so it was undoubtedly garbage time, which makes this injury even worse.
Landman appeared to injure his shoulder as he went to the ground. He was looked at by trainers and his left arm hung in pain as he walked to the sidelines. It's unclear how serious the injury was because it occurred at the end of the game and there was no reason for him to return.

Landman is a captain on defense and the signal caller for Chris Shula, so he's an important piece of the operation on that side of the ball.
