Sean McVay was frustrated and dejected after last week’s loss to the Arizona Cardinals, but his mood was predictably different following the Los Angeles Rams’ win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday. For a team that was desperate for a win, it was almost as if they could breathe a sigh of relief – even knowing the season is far from over, and the work isn’t done.
In the locker room, McVay gave a victory speech that applauded the complete team effort, recognizing that his players celebrated each other and played complementary football.
“That is a (expletive) example of what the work out put in,” he said. “All the (expletive) we put in throughout the course of the week, the work, you guys were celebrating the (expletive) out of each other’s success.
The right mindset.”
After his speech, McVay recognized a pair of individuals for the Rams. He gave a game ball to Matthew Stafford, who became the first player ever to lead two different franchises in touchdown passes. He also gave one to Davis Allen for his two-touchdown day.

After two straight losses, it sure is good to see a victory speech from McVay again.
