Already one of the greatest wide receivers in Los Angeles Rams history, Puka Nacua's knack for making plays has been propped up by the excessive amount of targets he receives. Always one to feed the hot hand, Matthew Stafford is never afraid to feed his star receiver, and that was proven on Monday night when the All-Pro receiver was on the end of 24 targets.
Nacua did his job, securing 17 catches for 138 yards and one touchdown. He was the best pass catcher on the field, and his performance put him right back in the midst of the Offensive Player of the Year race. According to NFL analyst Brett Kollmann, Nacua's night shot him from 86th on the NFL's receptions leaderboard all the way to seventh.
Nacua's 24 targets are the most in a game since Brandon
Marshall saw 28 in 2009 and the third-most all-time. His 17 receptions were also career-high.

He is now 7th.
In 2026, Nacua has 31 receptions for 337 yards and one touchdown – this is despite missing two games due to injury. Playing in a contract year, he continues to work toward a record-setting extension, while putting up video-game numbers on a nightly basis.
After finishing third in voting for Offensive Player of the Year last season, the Rams' young star is making the ultimate push this year again.
