The Los Angeles Rams face their biggest test defensively on Monday night when they host the Buffalo Bills at SoFi Stadium. The San Francisco 49ers provided a big challenge in Week 1, but the Bills are as high-powered as any team in the NFL.
Looking ahead to this marquee matchup on Monday night, here are seven stats and facts you should know.
Bills lead the NFL in points per game
No team in the NFL has scored more points this season than the Bills. They're putting up 31.8 per game, which is up 3.5 points per game from last season when they were fourth in the league. The Rams have actually gained more yards than the Bills, who rank eighth in total yardage, but Buffalo is putting up points in bunches once again.
Rams rank second in yardage on offense and defense
After a slow start on both sides of the ball in Week 1, the Rams have gotten
going in the last three games. They currently rank second in total yards gained and second in yards allowed, an impressive feat through four games. The Bears are the only other team in the NFL this season to rank in the top five in yards gained and yards allowed this season.
Buffalo has allowed at least 29 points in 3 of 4 games
As good as the Bills offense is, the defense is unquestionably suspect. They allowed 31 points in each of their first two games of the season against the Texans and Lions before giving up 29 to the Patriots last week. The only team they held under 29 points was the Chargers, who scored 16 in Buffalo's 24-16 win in Week 3.
The Bills have allowed the eighth-most points and sixth-most yards per game this season.
Rams are biggest favorites vs. Josh Allen since 2021
With Allen at quarterback, the Bills are usually either favorites or slight underdogs. The Rams aren't heavy favorites over Buffalo this week, but they are favored by three points. According to Ben Fawkes, it's the most points Allen has gotten as an underdog since 2021 when the Bills faced the Bucs at the end of that season.

➡️That would be the biggest underdog Josh Allen has been in a game in nearly FIVE years (+3.5 at Tom Brady's TB Bucs on Dec. 12, 2021)
Josh Allen averages 365 total yards and 5 touchdowns per game vs. Rams
To say Allen has put up great numbers against the Rams would be an understatement. It's precisely why Sean McVay calls him "Josh Alien." In his three career games against Los Angeles, Allen has averaged 316.7 passing yards per game and 48.7 rushing yards per game, with 15 total touchdowns (10 passing, five rushing).
That's an average of 365.4 total yards and five touchdowns per game against the Rams.
Bills are No. 1 in explosive play rate on offense, 21st on defense
Buffalo rarely has any trouble creating big plays with Allen at quarterback, and the same is true this season. The Bills have an explosive play rate of 12.9% this season, which leads the NFL. They're No. 1 in explosive pass rate and explosive run rate, while the Rams rank 13th overall in explosive play rate.
Defensively, it's a different story. The Bills allow the 12th-highest explosive play rate, whereas the Rams allow the fourth-lowest.

Rams are far better when it comes to rushing the passer
The Rams haven't had their full complement of pass rushers yet this season due to Myles Garrett and Aaron Donald's injuries, but they're still putting plenty of pressure on quarterbacks. According to ESPN, the Rams have the fifth-highest pass-rush win rate, and the Bills have the ninth-lowest.
