The Los Angeles Rams will have to play their next two games without Matthew Stafford's blindside protector. According to Aaron Wilson, the NFL suspended Rams left tackle Alaric Jackson for two games on Tuesday after he punched Buffalo Bills outside linebacker Bradley Chubb during a postgame scuffle Monday night. Michael J. Duarte of The California Post also reported Jackson's suspension.
Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the NFL has not yet notified the NFL or the Rams about the suspension, but the expectation is that it'll be for two games.
The incident occurred while players were still on the field after Monday's game. Jackson punched Chubb in the head, knocking his hat off. Chubb then had to be held back by his teammates, ensuring the incident didn't
escalate further.
Jackson will miss the Rams' games against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 6 and against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 7. He will be suspended without pay.

This is the second time Jackson has been suspended in the last three seasons. He was suspended two games to start the 2024 campaign due to a personal conduct violation.
With Jackson missing the next two weeks, the Rams will likely turn to either David Quessenberry or rookie Keagen Trost at left tackle.
