The Los Angeles Rams won't have NFL legend Aaron Donald on the field for their season opener against the San Francisco 49ers in Melbourne, Australia, but that doesn't mean fans won't be able to use the three-time Defensive Player of the Year in the virtual world.
EA Sports announced that Donald will be part of the latest roster update in "Madden NFL 27", rejoining his team with a 95 overall rating.

Donald sees a slight decrease from the 99 overall ranking (highest ranking in the game) that he held from Madden 18 all the way through Madden 24. Donald's inclusion boosts the Rams'
status as having one of the best rosters in the game, with Matthew Stafford and Myles Garrett having 99 overall ratings, while Puka Nacua comes in as a 98 overall.
Donald's 99 overall rating in seven different editions of the video game series is a record for the Madden franchise. After sitting out Week 1 in Melbourne, Donald is looking to potentially return in Week 2 when the Rams host the New York Giants at SoFi Stadium.
