The NFL is reviewing Puka Nacua’s case after he was sued for allegedly biting a woman on New Year’s Eve, but it’s possible he won’t be suspended at all this season. Adam Schefter of ESPN said on the “Pat McAfee Show” Monday that “there’s a real possibility” Nacua won’t face any discipline this season, getting through the entire year unscathed.
“I think there’s a real possibility that Puka is going to go through this season unscathed and not face any discipline for his part in that off-the-field incident with that woman where he was accused of allegedly biting her,” Schefter said.
Schefter added that Nacua is “going to be out there on Thursday night against the 49ers.”

“Doesn’t sound like he’s going to face any discipline this year right now,” Schefter said. “We’ll see if anything comes of that. We’re still waiting to hear about Alaric Jackson, the Rams offensive tackle, as well.”
Neither Nacua nor Jackson was placed on the commissioner’s exempt list before final cuts like Josh Jacobs and Jonathon Cooper were, which is a good sign for both players’ availability for the time being. They could still be suspended at some point, but not right now.
Nacua is also dealing with a psoas injury, but that won’t keep him off the field on Thursday night against the 49ers.
