The Los Angeles Rams got back to work on Monday as they begin their preparations for their season-opening contest against the San Francisco 49ers on September 10. With the team set to depart for Melbourne, Australia next week, there are lingering questions about what the status of the roster will be, especially as Aaron Donald makes his return from retirement.
On top of that, star defender Myles Garrett has been working to the side for some time, with the team looking to do everything to ensure he'll play in Week 1. Benjamin Royer of the OC Register provided an update, reporting that Garrett and Donald did not practice. Terrance Ferguson and Grant Stuard both worked off to the side with a trainer.
Puka Nacua is working his way back and doing positional
drills following an extended absence during preseason while dealing with a psoas injury. Byron Young, whose snaps have been managed due to his knee, appears to be ready to roll.

OLB Byron Young is back out there.
TE Terrance Ferguson and ILB Grant Stuard are off to the side working with a trainer.
DL Aaron Donald is not practicing, in weight room.
DE Myles Garrett not on field.
The team has yet to state if Donald will play in the opener after he ended his retirement on Sunday. Garrett's continued non-participation in team drills could be a worrying sign, especially as he did not partake in joint practices and was limited in training camp.
