Sean McVay told reporters before practice on Friday that Terrance Ferguson was expected to play against the Washington Commanders on Sunday, but plans have changed. After practice, the Rams released their full injury report and Ferguson has unexpectedly been ruled out.
Ferguson suffered a hamstring injury practice on Friday, which is the reason for him now being ruled out. Previously, he had been dealing with an ankle injury, so this is a new ailment for the young tight end.
It's a disappointing development for the Rams, who are already shorthanded on offense with Davante Adams out. Colby Parkinson is also questionable, so it's unclear if he'll be able to play. If Parkinson can't go, the Rams will turn to Tyler Higbee, Davis Allen and Max Klare
again.
