Myles Garrett could soon be on the practice field for the Los Angeles Rams.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported Nov. 1 that “there is optimism that Myles Garrett returns to practice this week.” He's been out since being placed on injured reserve with a knee injury after Week 1.

The Rams have yet to open Garrett’s practice window, so this would be a huge development in his potential return. Sean McVay said Monday the team hadn’t decided the practice window plan yet because he hadn’t spoken with Director of Sports Medicine Reggie Scott before
his press conference. Once Garrett's practice window opens, the Rams will have three weeks to decide whether to activate him from injured reserve or keep him there for the rest of the season.
Los Angeles acquired the reigning Defensive Player of the Year in June, sending edge rusher Jared Verse, a 2027 first-round pick, a 2028 second-round pick and a 2029 third-round pick to the Cleveland Browns.
Garrett missed most of training camp with a knee injury, and he played only one game before undergoing knee surgery. His debut came in a 27-7 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 1, where he finished with no tackles, sacks, QB hits, batted passes or forced fumbles. Pro Football Focus credited him with one pressure, a hurry.
The Rams, who are 3-4 heading into Week 8, don't have their bye week until Week 11.
