Injuries have been a major storyline for the Los Angeles Rams in the first four weeks of the season, but they're getting healthy and welcoming back some key players. Aaron Donald is one of them, as the Rams star is set to return against the Buffalo Bills on Monday night.
After missing him last week in their win over the Philadelphia Eagles, he'll be back in the fold tonight at SoFi Stadium. He's recovered from a back injury that caused him to miss Week 4, which was his second missed game of the season; he sat out Week 1 because he was still working his back from retirement.
Is Aaron Donald playing tonight?
Sean McVay gave an update on Donald's status during his press conference Saturday, saying the Rams legend doesn't have an injury designation and is good to go.
"Aaron was a DNP,
but he's good," McVay said. "He'll be good to go for the game, no status there."
Donald was limited to start the week of practice on Thursday before being upgraded to full on Friday. The Rams then gave him the day off on Saturday, which is typical of his schedule this season.
In his two games played this season, Donald has four tackles, one of which went for a loss, but he's still searching for his first sack of the year.
