The Los Angeles Rams are gearing up for their flight down to Melbourne, Australia, as the team will join the San Francisco 49ers as the first to play an NFL game in the country, opening up a sports-crazed nation to a new spectacle.

In preparation for the journey, the Rams have sent players down to take in the customs and traditions of the nation leading up to the game, with All-Pro running back Kyren Williams enjoying the game of cricket during his trip down under.

Taking his turn as a batter, Williams impressed professional cricketers Scott Boland and Glenn Maxwell with his skills.

Williams, who is entering his fifth NFL season,

will feature heavily for the team in the season opener, and as a team captain, he's been a focal point of the team's promotional material for their latest venture in the Pacific.

The Rams will host the 49ers on September 10 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
