The Los Angeles Rams could be facing a much tougher Green Bay Packers defense when the two teams meet on Thanksgiving Eve, with star pass rusher Micah Parsons targeting a return from injury for that matchup.
NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reported that the Packers and Parsons are targeting Nov. 25 for his return after he suffered a torn ACL and meniscus in Week 15 last season. Parsons is expected to resume practicing with individual drills before progressing to team work the following week, provided there are no setbacks. Green Bay has a Week 11 bye before hosting the Rams in Week 12.
Getting Parsons back would give an already productive pass rush another major weapon. Through eight games without him, Green Bay has recorded 22 sacks, tied for
sixth in the NFL, while its 22.3% pressure rate ranks tied for 17th.
Parsons has been one of the league's most disruptive pass rushers throughout his career, recording at least 12 sacks in each of his first five seasons. He had 12.5 sacks in 14 games during his first season with Green Bay in 2025 before suffering the knee injury.
The Rams have firsthand experience with the problems Parsons can create. In two career games against Los Angeles, he has totaled three sacks, six quarterback hits and a fumble recovery.
His potential return would be a significant addition for Green Bay as it prepares for a difficult matchup against Matthew Stafford and the Rams. While Nov. 25 remains a target rather than a confirmed return date, Los Angeles could be facing one of the NFL's most dangerous defensive players at full strength during a pivotal late-season showdown.
