Los Angeles Rams star receiver Puka Nacua doesn't have any interest in playing anywhere else.
Asked directly on the "Impaulsive" podcast whether he plans to remain in Los Angeles for the long haul, the Rams' receiver made his intentions clear.
"That's the plan," Nacua said. "I don't want to leave. It's so hard."
The comment comes as Nacua continues to establish himself as one of the most productive young receivers in the NFL. In 2025, Nacua was one of the league's most productive pass-catchers with an NFL-best 129 receptions for 1,715 yards and 10 touchdowns, pushing his three-year totals to 313 catches, 4,191 yards and 19 scores across 44 games.
Nacua has quickly become a foundational piece of the Rams' offense alongside quarterback Matthew Stafford,
and his remarks suggest he sees his future tied to the franchise that drafted him in the fifth round in 2023.
While Nacua isn't set to hit unrestricted free agency until after the 2026 season, the comments carry weight given the current landscape of the receiver market, where top-tier pass catchers are increasingly securing massive extensions or, in some cases, seeking their way out of situations that don't fit their timeline. Nacua's comments run counter to that trend, positioning him as a player who wants to build his career in Los Angeles rather than test the market elsewhere.
With the Rams considered Super Bowl contenders and Nacua entrenched as a top target, his comments serve as a reassuring signal for a fan base that has watched star players leave via trade or free agency in recent years. For now, at least, Nacua sounds fully committed to staying put.
