Now that the preseason is done for the Los Angeles Rams, their attention turns to the next item on the to-do list: roster cuts. Every team in the NFL must trim its roster down to just 53 players on Sunday, which means more than 1,000 players are about to be cut or put on injury lists.
It's a tough time for those NFL hopefuls, though many will be back on practice squads next week.
With one of the deepest rosters in football, the Rams have some difficult decisions to make by Sunday afternoon. How many offensive linemen will they carry? Will any undrafted rookies make it? Does the Tutu Atwell trade change anything at wide receiver?
We'll be tracking all of the Rams' moves over the next two days as they trim their roster down to 53 players.
Rams roster cuts
The Rams
have not yet cut any players, but this page will be updated when moves are made.
Where are the Rams in the waiver order?
The initial waiver order from now through Week 3 is the same as the original draft order before trades. So in that case, the Rams are 29th in the waiver order, the same slot as their original first-round pick.
After Week 3, the waiver order will then be based on current NFL standings, from worst to best record.
