The Los Angeles Rams got back to basics on Monday night, defeating the New York Giants at SoFi Stadium by a score of 28-6. Their victory came thanks to a complete effort, with the offense and defense playing complementary football.
Aaron Donald also made his return after a two-year retirement; thus, spirits were high in the locker room following the contest. Head coach Sean McVay had a lot to say in his congratulatory remarks, praising quarterback Matthew Stafford as his successful day advanced him up the NFL's all-time leaderboards.

McVay would hand out game balls to Trent McDuffie, Davante Adams, and Stafford.
McDuffie secured his first interception with the franchise, while Adams went supernova, hauling in eight receptions for 195 yards and two touchdowns.
Adams individually outscored the Giants, while picking up more yards than their entire team. The Rams face the Denver Broncos in Week 3.
