The Los Angeles Rams have officially gotten their roster down to 53 players, parting ways with a lot of talent before Sunday's deadline. It's the unfortunate reality of going from the preseason to the regular season, with thousands of players across the league losing their jobs.
Fortunately, many of them will be back with the teams that cut them as members of the practice squad. The Rams can carry 16 players on their practice squad, with one extra spot available for an international player, totaling 17. The majority of the players they sign to the practice squad will be players they recently cut, keeping them in the mix for 2026.
And with practice squad rules allowing teams to promote two players to the game-day roster each week, there are many
opportunities for practice squad guys to contribute throughout a season.
With the 53-man roster set, here's our prediction as to who the Rams will sign to their practice squad starting on Monday afternoon after waivers process.

Even if the Rams want to bring all of these players back on the practice squad, other teams will have a say. If they want a player cut by the Rams, they can claim them off waivers and prevent that player from returning to Los Angeles’ practice squad.
That’s especially relevant for players such as Dean Connors and Tim Keenan III, who could be of interest to other teams. The Rams would love to get Connors back but there’s a decent chance another team will claim him after seeing his standout preseason performance.
