After Odell Beckham Jr. was released by the New York Giants last month, some wondered if the Los Angeles Rams might consider a reunion with the star receiver. Though they’re not bringing Beckham back, he is reuniting with one of his former Rams coaches.
According to reports, the Vikings are signing Beckham to their practice squad. The move links him up with Kevin O’Connell, who was the Rams’ offensive coordinator during Beckham’s one season in Los Angeles. Vikings offensive coordinator Wes Phillips was also the Rams’ pass game coordinator during Beckham’s brief tenure.

Beckham played three games for the Giants this season but was only targeted once. He was only on the field for 20 offensive snaps before getting cut and becoming a free agent.
His last reception came in 2024 as a member of the Dolphins, though he only caught nine passes for 55 yards that year.
