When the 2026 schedule was released, it was clear just how difficult the Los Angeles Rams’ first few weeks would be. A trip to Australia, a home game against the Giants and a road matchup with the Broncos.
Yet, as tough as that stretch looked, they were all winnable games. Three weeks into the season, the Rams are not where they hoped to be.
They’ve lost two of their first three and now get the Eagles on the road in Week 4. Their biggest rivals, meanwhile, are above .500 and look like Super Bowl contenders. The 49ers are a perfect 3-0 despite losing a number of key players to injury, and the Seahawks are 2-1. Even the Cardinals have a win, tying them with the Rams for last place in the NFC West.

The Rams are only ahead of the Cardinals because
they’re 0-1 in the division and Arizona is 0-2. The Cardinals are also 0-2 in the conference, with their lone win coming against the Chargers.
Los Angeles won’t get its first shot at the Seahawks until Week 16 on Christmas night, so Sean McVay’s squad will have to wait for its opportunity to avenge last year’s playoff loss. The Rams will face the Cardinals in Weeks 6 and 10, and the 49ers again in Week 14.
For a team that people were saying could go undefeated, every win and loss is now critical as the NFC West race heats up.
