The Los Angeles Rams and New York Giants started the 2026 season in very different ways. The Rams were blown out by the San Francisco 49ers in Australia, 27-7, while the Giants upset the Dallas Cowboys at MetLife Stadium on Sunday night, 28-20.
These two teams will now square off in another prime-time matchup next Monday night at SoFi Stadium. The Rams will be well-rested after returning from Melbourne, while the Giants will have to fly across the country for a marquee matchup against the Super Bowl favorites.
Despite their differing records, it's the Rams who are heavy favorites over the Giants. Here are the opening odds from BetMGM.

The Rams were slight favorites against the 49ers in Week 1 but didn't come close to covering the spread. The Giants
not only covered the spread as 3-point underdogs to the Cowboys, but they won outright in convincing fashion.
New York displayed an aggressive defense and an efficient offense under head coach John Harbaugh, maintaining possession for nearly 37 minutes against Dallas. The Giants scored three straight touchdowns before running out the clock on their final drive to put the game away.
