The Los Angeles Rams got back to basics on Sunday, using their running back duo of Kyren Williams and Blake Corum to gash the Las Vegas Raiders on the ground in a 35-21 win. Williams started the game again, but it was Corum who got the first carries on the second drive, and the two of them rotated throughout the game.
As a result of their efforts, the Rams not only took home the win, but the two became the first Rams players since 2001 to each record over 90 yards rushing and a touchdown in the same game, according to the Rams' J.B. Long. The last duo to accomplish this was Marshall Faulk and Trung Canidate 25 years ago.

Corum eclipsed Williams in carries, 17 to 16, picking up 93 yards and a touchdown. Williams had 99 yards and a touchdown.
This actually has happened since Faulk and Canidate, but it was in the playoffs. During the Rams' divisional round win over the Dallas Cowboys on January 12, 2019, both Todd Gurley and C.J. Anderson rushed for over 100 yards and a touchdown, combining for 238 rushing yards and three scores in the 30-22 win. That was the last NFL playoff game that was played at the Los Angeles Coliseum.
Sunday's game was the best performance Williams and Corum have had as a pairing this season.
