With the Los Angeles Rams playing on Friday morning in Australia, they released their first official injury report of the 2026 season on Tuesday. They practiced in Los Angeles before flying out to Melbourne, and a handful of players were either held out due to injuries or rest.
Myles Garrett, who will play against the 49ers in the opener, was listed as a non-participant due to his lingering knee injury. Grant Stuard was limited with a hamstring injury, while Jaylen Watson missed practice because of a toe issue. The severity of Watson's injury is unclear, but there have been no indications that he's in danger of missing the opener.
Byron Young, Tyler Higbee and Alaric Jackson all got veteran rest days, and Aaron Donald only practiced partially
because of rest.
Below is the full injury report from Tuesday's practice.
Rams-49ers injury report

The 49ers are in surprisingly good shape for a team that was banged up this summer. Nine players were limited by injuries, with only one player missing practice altogether: defensive tackle James Thompson due to a hamstring injury.
The most notable names are Nick Bosa (knee), who will play on Thursday night, and George Kittle (Achilles), who is also likely to suit up. They were both limited.
