The Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers will make history in Week 1 when they play the NFL’s first regular-season game ever in Australia. Netflix will stream the game on Sept. 10, and ahead of the highly anticipated matchup in Melbourne, the full on-air team has been announced.
In addition to Noah Eagle and Luke Kuechly in the booth and MJ Acosta on the sidelines, Netflix will also have two former Rams players in the studio as analysts. Nick Foles and Clay Matthews have been hired by Netflix, breaking things down pre-game, at halftime and during postgame coverage alongside Elle Duncan and Michael Irvin.

Foles played one year with the Rams in 2015, going 4-7 as a starter after being acquired in a trade with the Eagles. He later returned to the Eagles and won a Super Bowl with Philadelphia in 2017, replacing the injured Carson Wentz.
Matthews also spent only one year with the Rams, playing in Los Angeles in 2019. That was his final season in the NFL, recording eight sacks and 37 tackles in the 13 games he played.
Kickoff between the Rams and 49ers is set for 8:35 p.m. ET on Sept. 10 on Netflix, the season opener for both teams.
