Coming off their win over the Las Vegas Raiders, the Los Angeles Rams will welcome the Chargers to SoFi Stadium in Week 8. It's another Sunday afternoon game for the Rams, with kickoff set for 4:05 p.m. ET.
The Chargers are the only winless team left in the NFL and coming off a bye, they'll surely be motivated. The Rams, though, will be equally fired up after starting the season 3-4.
According to BetMGM, the Rams are heavily favored in this matchup, opening as 7-point favorites over the Chargers. The over/under is set at 43.5 points, with the Rams being -325 to win straight-up on the moneyline (bet $325 to win $100).
Rams vs. Chargers odds
- Money line: Chargers +270 | Rams -325
- Spread: Chargers +7 (-108) | Rams -7 (-110)
- Over/under: 43.5 (O: -108 | U: -110)
Not only do the Chargers have the worst record in the NFL, but they're also a league-worst 0-6 against the spread. They were big
favorites in Weeks 1 and 2 when they lost to the Cardinals and Raiders in consecutive weeks, but they've been underdogs in every game since. Even in the three games they were getting between 6.5 and 7.5 points, they failed to cover the spread.
The Rams, meanwhile, are 3-4 against the spread, most recently covering as 3.5-point favorites over the Raiders on Sunday in their 35-21 win.
