Earlier in the year, the Detroit Lions parted ways with cornerback Terrion Arnold after the defender was arrested and charged with kidnapping and robbery. The accusation, which is believed to have occurred in Tampa, Florida, has Arnold set to reappear in court on October 5 for a disposition hearing.
Despite facing some legal trouble, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the former first-round pick is on the verge of signing a one-year deal with the Seattle Seahawks. That puts him in position to potentially play the Los Angeles Rams twice next season.

Due to the nature of Arnold's legal situation, he's subject to being placed on the NFL commissioner's exempt list, barring him from playing or practicing while the NFL conducts its own inquiry into his situation. He would still be paid and allowed to attend meetings.
If Arnold does play, it's likely he could play a major role in replacing the departed Riq Woolen, who signed a massive deal with the Philadelphia Eagles this offseason. The Rams and Seahawks will play twice during the last three weeks of the season, including the season finale in Los Angeles.
