The Los Angeles Rams face off against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 4 action, and with the team looking for a win, their effort level will be high. The Eagles, looking to defend their home turf, will be ultra-aggressive as they hope to avoid a second straight loss.
Here are five predictions for the contest.
Williams eclipses 100 yards
Kyren Williams was sublime last week, totaling over 150 yards from scrimmage as the running back looked like his All-Pro self once again. The Eagles have not done well against the run, and with an electric passing offense to worry about, the Eagles should have gaps within their run defense, especially without Zack Baun.
The Rams are going to look to use Williams early and often. For the first time this season, he breaks 100 yards rushing.
Nacua has himself a day
Puka Nacua is back, and after Luther Burden torched the Philadelphia defense last week, Nacua's ability to run block should allow Los Angeles to set up deep bombs based on Williams' success. Nacua has always shown up when the Rams need him to do so.
I'm predicting at least six catches for 80 yards and a touchdown.
Adams continues his hot start
The Eagles should be making it a point to stop Adams from achieving his third straight game with 100 receiving yards, but that doesn't mean they'll be successful. The Rams' best chance to score in the red zone is to use Adams. Thus, while Adams may not get the catches or yards in this game, he should haul in at least one touchdown.
Speights racks up the tackles
Omar Speights has had a great start to the year and is one of the Rams' best run defenders. The Eagles will naturally run the ball, due to Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, and their offensive line. Plus, their passing attack is out of whack, and they'll likely be without DeVonta Smith.
Therefore, Speights should be racking up tackles, walking away with at least seven for the game. My prediction is that he makes nine, because he'll be on the field more due to Philadelphia's heavier personnel packages.
Young puts his name on the map again
Byron Young has himself a day in Philadelphia, using his speed to corral Hurts for two sacks. Hurts loves to move around and out of the pocket, and Josaiah Stewart's aggressiveness should collapse Hurts' blind side quickly. Young has the speed and power to take care of the rest, especially as the Eagles' pass catchers struggle to find separation downfield.
