Dontayvion Wicks is available for Sunday’s game against the Panthers after a hamstring injury interrupted his preparation. The Eagles listed Wicks as limited Wednesday before he missed Thursday’s practice. He returned as a full participant Friday and did not receive a game designation.
Is Dontayvion Wicks playing today?
Yes. Wicks is cleared to play in Week 6, giving Tanner McKee another receiving option as he takes over for Jalen Hurts.
Wicks caught five passes for 63 yards on eight targets in Philadelphia’s loss to Jacksonville last week. The Eagles could use similar involvement as McKee makes his first start of the season. DeVonta Smith is also returning after missing two games. With both receivers available, Sean Mannion has more flexibility to spread out Carolina’s defense
and create passing opportunities for McKee.
