The Philadelphia Eagles have filled all 17 available spots on their practice squad after adding four players with intriguing athletic traits and developmental upside. Offensive tackle Kiran Amegadjie, running back Jaydon Blue, wide receiver Danny Gray and cornerback Robert Longerbeam joined the 13 players Philadelphia initially retained
Monday. The Eagles used an international player exemption to carry an additional developmental prospect.Amegadjie provides another option at a position where Philadelphia spent the summer searching for reliable depth. The Chicago Bears selected the former Yale tackle in the third round of the 2024 NFL draft. Injuries limited Amegadjie during his two seasons in Chicago, but his 6-foot-5 frame and draft pedigree
give offensive line coach Chris Kuper another talented prospect to develop.
Blue arrives from the Dallas Cowboys, giving Philadelphia another explosive runner with regular-season experience. The 2025 fifth-round pick rushed for 129 yards and one touchdown on 34 attempts as a rookie. Blue’s 4.38 speed could make him a potential change-of-pace option if elevated during the season. Gray returns for another stint with the Eagles after previously spending time on their practice squad. A former third-round pick by San Francisco, Gray adds speed, special-teams experience and familiarity with the organization.
Longerbeam joins Philadelphia after being waived by Baltimore. The former Rutgers cornerback missed his rookie season because of a knee injury but returned to make his preseason debut this summer. His arrival gives the Eagles another young defensive back with speed and developmental potential.
