The Eagles are expected to have Jonathan Greenard available Monday night for the first time.
The pass rusher is set to make his Philadelphia debut against the Chicago Bears, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported. Greenard was listed as questionable with a pectoral injury after practicing in full ahead of the game. His status will become official when the Eagles release their inactive list. Philadelphia acquired Greenard from Minnesota during draft weekend, but the injury kept him out of training camp and the first two regular-season games. He returned to practice before the opener and gradually increased his work. Getting through a full practice this week was his clearest step toward playing.

another established edge rusher as the Eagles try to move to 3-0. Philadelphia has managed his recovery carefully, and his first-game snap total remains to be seen. A limited workload would still let the Eagles work him into their pass-rush rotation.

The timing also matters for a defense facing Chicago on the road in prime time. The Eagles have played their first two games without one of their major offseason additions. Monday offers their first chance to see what Greenard can add.
