The Philadelphia Eagles
ruled out running back Saquon Barkley and wide receiver DeVonta Smith with hamstring injuries Friday, leaving Jalen Hurts without two of his top offensive weapons for Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London. Center Drew Kendall, safety Marcus Epps, and wide receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown are also out. Outside linebacker Jonathan Greenard is listed as questionable with an ankle injury.Barkley injured his hamstring during Philadelphia’s Week 4 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. His absence puts Will Shipley and Dameon Pierce in position to handle the backfield workload, with Tank Bigsby already on injured reserve.
Smith will miss his second consecutive game, while Brown’s absence further reduces Philadelphia’s
receiving options. Darius Cooper, Makai Lemon and Elijah Moore could take on larger roles as the Eagles attempt to end a two-game losing streak.

Kendall’s knee injury creates another change along an offensive line already adjusting to Lane Johnson’s retirement and the trade that sent Cam Jurgens to Baltimore. Philadelphia will need another center option against Jacksonville’s defensive front.
Defensively, Epps remains sidelined with a groin injury, while Greenard’s questionable designation leaves his availability unresolved.
The Eagles enter the matchup at 2-2 and will need production from their reserves to avoid a third consecutive loss. Barkley and Smith’s absences place added pressure on Hurts and offensive coordinator Sean Mannion to keep the offense moving with a depleted lineup.
