Several members of the Tennessee Titans organization will be familiar when the Philadelphia Eagles
visit Nashville on Sunday. Tight end Kylen Granson is the only current Titans player who spent the 2025 season with Philadelphia. Granson is listed behind Gunnar Helm and Daniel Bellinger on Tennessee’s depth chart, but his familiarity with the Eagles’ personnel and defensive system could provide useful insight during preparation.The most recognizable former Eagles player on Tennessee’s staff is wide receivers coach Greg Lewis.
Lewis played his first six NFL seasons in Philadelphia from 2003 through 2008. He appeared in 90 regular-season games for the Eagles, catching 127 passes for 1,699 yards and seven touchdowns. His tenure included a touchdown reception
against New England in Super Bowl XXXIX. Defensive backs and safeties coach Marquand Manuel also has ties to Philadelphia. Manuel served as the Eagles’ defensive backs coach in 2020 before continuing his coaching career elsewhere.
Titans quarterbacks coach Shea Tierney began his NFL coaching career in Philadelphia. He worked for the Eagles as a football analyst and coaching intern from 2013 through 2015. The connections also run the other way. Eagles linebackers coach Bobby King spent the 2022 and 2023 seasons with Tennessee as the Titans’ inside linebackers coach. Philadelphia guard Tyler Steen played collegiately at Vanderbilt, while quarterbacks coach Parks Frazier worked at Middle Tennessee State. Eagles defensive ends and outside linebackers coach Jeremiah Washburn is the son of Jim Washburn, who coached Tennessee’s defensive line from 1999 through 2010.
Those relationships will not determine Sunday’s outcome, but they add familiarity to Philadelphia’s first road game of the season.
