The Philadelphia Eagles
continued strengthening the bottom of their roster Tuesday, signing wide receiver Danny Gray, offensive lineman Kiran Amegadjie, cornerback Robert Longerbeam and running back Jaydon Blue to the practice squad. Blue was released by the Dallas Cowboys during Sunday’s roster reduction after appearing to have an opportunity to earn a backup role. Dallas selected the former Texas running back in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL draft.Blue recorded 129 yards and one touchdown on 38 carries as a rookie. He rushed for 94 yards on 23 attempts during the 2026 preseason, displaying the speed and big-play potential that made him one of the most intriguing players available following final cuts.

Amegadjie provides Philadelphia with another developmental offensive tackle. Chicago selected the former Yale standout with the No. 75 overall pick in 2024. He appeared in six games as a rookie before an elbow injury cost him the 2025 season. The former third-round pick gives the Eagles another option behind Lane Johnson, Jordan Mailata, Fred Johnson and Markel Bell.
Longerbeam was Baltimore’s sixth-round selection in 2025. The former Rutgers cornerback missed his rookie season with a knee injury but returned to record 11 tackles across three preseason games this summer. Gray returns after spending training camp with Philadelphia. The former San Francisco third-round pick offers speed and continued familiarity with the Eagles’ offense.
Philadelphia used the latest additions to address four premium areas: offensive speed, tackle development, cornerback depth and explosive backfield potential.
