Eagles’ Lane Johnson now questionable vs. Rams for personal reasons

The Eagles face another significant availability question ahead of Sunday’s matchup against the Rams.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, right tackle Lane Johnson is now questionable for personal reasons. The report does not say Johnson will miss the game, but it adds uncertainty at a critical position ahead of Philadelphia’s 1 p.m. ET kickoff at Lincoln Financial Field.

Lane Johnson’s status adds to Philadelphia’s personnel concerns

Johnson’s availability matters for an offense trying to rebound from Monday night’s 27-7 loss to Chicago. His presence at right tackle gives Jalen Hurts an experienced protector and provides stability as Philadelphia works through changes elsewhere on the offensive line.

The Eagles have

already ruled out tackle Fred Johnson with a knee injury, making Lane Johnson’s status especially important to their depth. Philadelphia also will be without wide receivers DeVonta Smith and Hollywood Brown, along with tight end Dallas Goedert.

Eagles await a final decision before kickoff

The questionable designation leaves open the possibility that Johnson plays against Los Angeles. His availability and any resulting lineup change remain unresolved. Philadelphia’s official inactive list is expected approximately 90 minutes before kickoff. That announcement should provide additional clarity as the Eagles prepare for a Rams defense capable of testing their protection.

For now, Johnson is listed as questionable for personal reasons, with no further details provided in Rapoport’s report.
