The Philadelphia Eagles used extensive rotations at several positions in their 24-20 Week 2 victory over the Tennessee Titans. Jalen Hurts and the starting offensive line played all 76 offensive snaps. Jordan Mailata, Landon Dickerson, Cam Jurgens, Tyler Steen and Lane Johnson joined Hurts in going the distance.
DeVonta Smith led the skill-position players with 67 snaps, accounting for 88% of Philadelphia’s offensive plays. Tight end Johnny Mundt was next with 49 snaps, while rookie wide receiver Makai Lemon played 48. Dontayvion Wicks logged 47 snaps. The backfield distribution was among the biggest surprises. Cooper played 31 snaps and caught the winning 3-yard touchdown from Hurts with nine seconds remaining. Dallas Goedert played only 19 snaps, while Hollywood Brown played 17.
Philadelphia had five defenders play all 53 snaps: Zack Baun, Cooper DeJean, Andrew Mukuba, Quinyon Mitchell and Riqq Woolen. Second-year linebacker Jihaad Campbell played 47 defensive snaps, giving him an 89% share. Moro Ojomo led the defensive line with 43 snaps, followed by Jalyx Hunt with 42. Jalen Carter and Nolan Smith Jr. each played 41.
Jordan Davis played 23 snaps, while Azeez Ojulari Ebiketie logged 15. Byron Young played 13, and A.J. Epenesa received eight.
Jeremiah Trotter Jr. and Kelee Ringo led the special-teams units with 19 snaps apiece. Trotter did not receive a defensive snap after playing a prominent role in the season opener, making his Week 2 usage one of the most notable changes in Philadelphia’s rotation.
