The story never fails to make for an interesting conversation. No matter how many times we say it, the Philadelphia Eagles have never lost to the Houston Oilers. They've never beaten the Tennessee Titans in the Volunteer State.
Nick Sirianni's Eagles have ended jinxes before. Philadelphia had never beaten the Cincinnati Bengalson the road until 2024. Last season, Coach Sirianni's squad became the first NFC East team to win back-to-back division titles since Andy Reid's Eagles won four straight from 2001-04.
So here we are, on the verge of another 'first' in the Jalen Hurts-Sirianni era, and despite the Titans being talented, Philadelphia is, unsurprisingly, favored. Everyone has their ideas about how this game may play out. Here are a few educated

Tennessee allowed the New York Jetsto run effectively in Week 1, and Philadelphia should be eager to test that front. One big run can change a game, but two could turn this into a Barkley highlight reel.

We don't know who will start in place of Landon Dickerson, but we do know this: Whoever gets the opportunity will hold up in pass protection.

The defense gets at least one takeaway through the air, and that extra possession proves valuable. Philadelphia avoids letting the Titans hang around, creates a couple of short fields, and wins by 10 points.
Maybe this is the week the Eagles finally end another Tennessee-related footnote. This seems a great opportunity. Doing so moves Sirianni and company to 2-0 in the regular season. Prediction: Eagles 27, Titans 13
