The Rams’ trip to Philadelphia is still several days away, but their injury concerns are already taking shape on both sides of the ball.
Los Angeles coach Sean McVay said Monday that cornerback Jaylen Watson dislocated his shoulder during Sunday’s game against Denver and “probably” will miss Week 4 against the Eagles, according to Rams reporter Stu Jackson. McVay said the team has not discussed placing Watson on injured reserve. He has dealt with the injury before, ESPN’s Sarah Barshop said.

Rams face questions at tight end
Terrance Ferguson also is likely to miss Sunday’s game after suffering a medial ankle sprain. McVay described fellow tight end Colby Parkinson, who sustained an AC joint sprain in his shoulder, as more day-to-day. Those injuries could thin a group the Rams have used extensively in their passing game. Ferguson caught six passes for 54 yards and a touchdown against the Giants in Week 2. The Rams’ participation reports later this week will better indicate who can play in Philadelphia.
The outlook is more encouraging for wide receiver Puka Nacua. McVay said he is “hopeful” Nacua will play against the Eagles after missing the Rams’ past two games with a hip injury. Los Angeles had listed him as doubtful for Sunday’s game in Denver. Watson’s likely absence would affect the Rams’ defense against Jalen Hurts and Philadelphia’s receivers. Nacua’s potential return could restore one of Matthew Stafford’s top targets. Neither player has received a Week 4 game designation yet; those decisions will come after the teams practice this week.
