Stud: Dallas Goedert
Goedert caught four of five targets for 77 yards and two touchdowns. His 43-yard catch-and-run score provided Philadelphia’s final points and eventually became the difference.
Stud: Jalen Hurts
Hurts completed 14 of 25 passes for 203 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions. His 22-yard scramble on third-and-17 extended Philadelphia’s decisive touchdown drive.
Stud: Dontayvion Wicks
Wicks caught two passes for 73 yards and one touchdown in his Eagles debut. His performance validated Philadelphia's confidence in him throughout training camp.
Stud: Zack Baun
Baun recorded a team-high 12 tackles and remained
Philadelphia’s most consistent defender throughout the afternoon.
Stud: Moro Ojomo
Ojomo recognized Washington’s shovel pass on the tying two-point attempt and stopped Bates short of the goal line.
Dud: Landon Dickerson
Dickerson allowed three pressures, including one quarterback hit, and committed a holding penalty. Washington repeatedly found ways to disrupt Philadelphia’s interior protection.
Dud: Cooper DeJean
DeJean struggled in slot coverage and allowed Diggs’ fourth-quarter touchdown, the first scoring reception he has surrendered from the slot during his NFL career.
Dud: Third-quarter offense
The Eagles opened the second half with three consecutive three-and-outs and nearly surrendered control of the game.
