Jalen Hurts is lending his voice to Ryan Clark’s next chapter in sports media.
The Eagles quarterback joined Odell Beckham Jr. in helping narrate Clark’s announcement for The Pivot Sports, a new extension of the media brand Clark has built alongside former NFL players Fred Taylor and Channing Crowder. The Pivot Sports was scheduled to premiere Monday at 2 p.m. EDT on the podcast’s YouTube channel. Clark announced the launch through social media, thanking supporters who encouraged him following his departure from ESPN and describing the project as something created for those who continued backing him.
Hurts and Beckham appearing in the launch presentation added two prominent NFL voices to the announcement. Their involvement should not be characterized
as an ownership role or formal partnership, but their participation demonstrated the level of support Clark has maintained among current and former players. The new venture arrives as The Pivot continues expanding beyond its original podcast format. Launched in 2022, the show has released more than 500 episodes and generated nearly 1 billion views across YouTube and other social platforms.
The Pivot also began a multiyear streaming partnership with Netflix on Sept. 8. New video episodes are scheduled to stream exclusively on Netflix every Tuesday and Friday, while previous episodes remain available on Netflix and on YouTube.
The agreement gives Netflix the first opportunity to negotiate for additional projects produced by Pivot25 Productions, which Clark co-founded with Alicia Zubikowski. The company will also create bonus episodes for the streaming platform.
Clark’s ESPN tenure ended in July after 11 years with the network. Although initial reports described his departure as part of wider layoffs, Clark later said he considered himself fired rather than laid off.
