Philadelphia received encouraging news on Monday about its most explosive pass rusher. Philadelphia Eagles
edge rusher Jonathan Greenard is considered day-to-day after leaving Sunday’s 24-20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams with an ankle injury, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. The injury is not considered serious, although Greenard’s Week 5 availability will depend on his recovery and participation in practice.#Eagles edge Jonathan Greenard, who exited Sunday’s game early with an ankle injury, is considered day-to-day, sources say. Greenard has recorded one quarterback hit and one forced fumble after missing Philadelphia’s first two games with a pectoral injury. His return has added another
experienced pass rusher to a rotation led by Nolan Smith and Jalyx Hunt.
If Greenard cannot play against Jacksonville, those two would again handle larger roles. Greenard has not yet been listed with an official Week 5 game designation and will be a player to watch on Wednesday.
