The Tennessee Titans
will present a talented defensive front and several new starters when the Philadelphia Eagles arrive at Nissan Stadium for Sunday’s Week 2 matchup. Jeffery Simmons remains the unit's centerpiece, while Jermaine Johnson II, John Franklin-Myers, and Jacob Martin complete an experienced starting front. Tennessee can also create different alignments through its depth and Robert Saleh’s pressure packages.The Titans’ unofficial depth chart lists three starting linebackers, but Marcus Harris should enter as the nickel cornerback when Tennessee removes a linebacker in passing situations.

Simmons presents the most significant matchup problem for Philadelphia’s reconfigured offensive line. With Landon Dickerson on injured reserve,
the Eagles must prevent Tennessee’s top interior defender from disrupting Jalen Hurts before routes develop. Johnson and Franklin-Myers give the Titans additional pass-rush versatility. The second level also contains speed and production after Hill recorded 16 tackles in his NFL debut.
Taylor and Flott are expected to handle the outside cornerback assignments, with Harris working against Philadelphia’s slot receivers. Hooker provides experience and communication on the back end, while Winston is an ascending young safety. Philadelphia has the more accomplished offense, but Tennessee’s defensive front can put the Eagles behind schedule and let Saleh become more aggressive with his pressure packages.
