The Philadelphia Eagles are adding another accomplished veteran to their practice squad.
Philadelphia is signing former Indianapolis Colts cornerback Kenny Moore II, according to The Athletic's Zach Berman. Moore earned Pro Bowl honors in 2021 and spent nine seasons with Indianapolis before becoming a free agent this year.
The 31-year-old has appeared in 132 career games, recording 649 tackles, 21 interceptions, 68 passes defensed, 11.5 sacks, and six forced fumbles. He has returned four interceptions for touchdowns and scored five defensive touchdowns overall. Moore appeared in 14 games for Indianapolis in 2025, finishing with 34 solo tackles, six passes defensed, two forced fumbles and one interception. Although Moore has spent most of his career covering
the slot, he also has experience playing outside. His physicality against the run and effectiveness as a blitzer have allowed defensive coordinators to use him in several roles.

Philadelphia already has considerable depth in a secondary featuring Quinyon Mitchell, Cooper DeJean, Riq Woolen, Michael Carter II, Kelee Ringo and Andrew Mukuba. Signing Moore to the practice squad lets the Eagles evaluate his conditioning and familiarity with Vic Fangio’s system before deciding whether he should get a game-day role.
The move represents Philadelphia’s second significant reunion or veteran addition this week after the team brought tight end Zach Ertz back on a practice-squad deal. Moore gives the Eagles an experienced insurance policy and another proven defensive back for a roster built to make another championship run.
