The Philadelphia Eagles will once again break out their iconic Kelly Green uniforms for one of the NFL’s oldest rivalries.
Philadelphia announced Wednesday that the team will wear its Kelly Green throwback uniform when it hosts the New York Giants in Week 9. The NFC East matchup is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 8, at 1 p.m. ET at Lincoln Financial Field.
The Giants will contribute to the throwback theme by wearing their Vintage White Color Rush uniform, featuring white jerseys and pants. The contrasting looks should create one of the most visually distinctive games on Philadelphia’s 2026 schedule. The selection confirms one of the games previously identified as a logical choice when projecting Philadelphia’s 2026 Kelly Green schedule. The combination
of a traditional Sunday afternoon kickoff, cooler November weather and a divisional opponent made the Giants matchup a natural fit.

Philadelphia’s current Kelly Green look is based on the uniforms worn during the late 1980s and early 1990s, when Randall Cunningham, Reggie White and several other franchise icons represented the Eagles.
The organization finally unveiled its long-awaited Kelly Green throwback uniforms in 2023, following the NFL's helmet rule changes. Philadelphia had declined to combine a Kelly Green jersey with its Midnight Green helmet, choosing to wait until a matching throwback helmet could be produced. The uniform has become one of the league’s most popular alternate looks since returning to Philadelphia’s rotation. Pairing it with the Giants’ vintage design will give the Week 9 meeting an old-school look befitting a rivalry that began in 1933.
