The Philadelphia Eagles should prepare to see Puka Nacua when the Los Angeles Rams visit Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday.
Rams coach Sean McVay said Nacua would be limited during Wednesday’s practice but added that he expects the All-Pro wide receiver to play against Philadelphia. Nacua has been working his way back from a hip injury that McVay previously described as groin soreness. Nacua was listed as doubtful and did not play against the Denver Broncos in Week 3. McVay said before that game that the Rams expected him to return against Philadelphia unless he experienced a setback.
His anticipated return changes the matchup for an Eagles defense coming off a poor performance against Chicago.

Nacua led the NFL with 129 receptions in 2025 while producing 1,715 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns. Pairing him with Davante Adams would give Matthew Stafford two accomplished receivers capable of stressing Philadelphia’s secondary at every level.
The Rams received less encouraging news on defense.
Aaron Donald did not practice Wednesday because of a back issue. McVay did not indicate that Donald had been ruled out, but his availability will be one of the week’s most important developments for an Eagles offense that struggled to protect Jalen Hurts and sustain drives against the Bears. Donald’s interior pressure would create another significant challenge for a reshuffled Philadelphia offensive line. Cam Jurgens has struggled early in the season, while the Eagles are still attempting to establish continuity between Jurgens, center Drew Kendall and right guard Tyler Steen.
Nacua appears to be trending toward playing. Donald’s status is less certain. Both developments will help define Philadelphia’s preparation for a Rams team carrying elite talent on each side of the football.
