The race to a stacked 53-man roster has arrived in Philadelphia. Over the next two days, general manager Howie Roseman and head coach Nick Sirianni will turn the Eagles’ 90-player roster into the group that opens the regular season, with every move due by 6 p.m. ET Sunday.
Philadelphia finished the preseason 0-3 after a 30-13 loss to Cincinnati, but several roster clues emerged from the finale. Darius Cooper and Drew Kendall were held out, Carson Steele made a forceful closing argument, Tanner McKee left the backup quarterback competition unsettled, and Andre’ Sam’s injury complicated the safety picture.
