The Eagles have little time to dwell on Monday night’s 27-7 loss to the Bears. Philadelphia faces a demanding three-game stretch that includes a short turnaround, an international trip, and a return home without a bye to recover.
At 2-1, the Eagles still have an opportunity to build on their winning start. How they respond over the next three weeks will help determine whether Chicago's loss was an isolated setback or a warning about problems that require bigger adjustments.
Rams arrive on a short week
Philadelphia hosts Los Angeles on Sunday, Oct. 4, giving Nick Sirianni’s team a compressed preparation window after a Monday night game.
The Eagles must improve their offensive execution as they prepare for Matthew Stafford and Sean McVay. With DeVonta Smith and Hollywood Brown
unlikely to play, Jalen Hurts and Sean Mannion could face that assignment with a depleted receiving group.
Jaguars await in London
The Eagles then travel to London to face Jacksonville on Oct. 11 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
That adds overseas travel and a time-zone adjustment to an already busy stretch. Philadelphia needs to establish more consistency against the Rams rather than carry the same offensive questions into another week with additional demands on preparation and recovery.
Panthers follow without a bye
The Eagles return to Lincoln Financial Field to host Carolina on Oct. 18, one week after their London game, and one week before the first matchup against the Dallas Cowboys.
Playing at home helps, but Philadelphia will still need to manage the return trip while preparing for another opponent. There is no immediate break built into this stretch.
