Nick Sirianni's team is now down two offensive stars following Saquon Barkley's departure. The Philadelphia Eagles listed Dallas Goedert as questionable to return after the veteran tight end suffered a knee injury during Sunday’s Week 2 matchup against the Tennessee Titans.
Goedert departed after catching one pass for four yards on two targets. Philadelphia did not immediately provide more information about when the injury occurred or its severity. His departure created another significant concern for an Eagles offense that already lost Saquon Barkley to a stinger on the opening play. Barkley was also listed as questionable to return after initially being evaluated in the blue medical tent and then heading to the locker room.
Goedert entered Week
2 after playing a central role in Philadelphia’s 24-22 season-opening victory over the Washington Commanders. He caught four passes for 77 yards and two touchdowns, including a 43-yard score during the fourth quarter.

The veteran remains one of Jalen Hurts’ most trusted targets, particularly on third down and in the red zone. His ability to work the middle of the field also creates space for DeVonta Smith, Dontayvion Wicks and Philadelphia’s other receivers. Johnny Mundt and E.J. Jenkins are the other tight ends on the Eagles’ active roster. Philadelphia entered Sunday attempting to improve to 2-0 during its first road game of the season. The potential losses of Barkley and Goedert leave Sean Mannion’s offense without two of its most important skill-position players.
Goedert’s availability for the remainder of the game will depend on the results of further evaluation.
